Product Reviews: Part 10 - My Amazon reviewer ranking continues to hover around #3000
My ranking at Amazon continues to hover around #3000 as the 733 reviews I've written reached a milestone of 3500 helpful votes yesterday, an average of 4.775 helpful votes per review.
Since the milestone when my reviews reached 3000 helpful votes in August 2021, Amazon merchants have provided a variety of free products that I've requested from them, with recent months including a whole house dehumidifier, large room air purifiers, and a kitchen faucet and reverse osmosis water filtration system I recently installed in my kitchen.
While I still have this series of posts categorized under "book review", the vast majority of my reviews are no longer books, instead largely focused on practical products. Chief among these are daily supplements, the vast majority of which I now source freely from Amazon on an ongoing basis, including a variety of nootropics and whole food vitamins.
My top review, which resulted in my shooting up to a ranking of #1967 back in May 2012, was for Madeleine Albright's new memoir at the time entitled "Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War, 1937-1948". At the time of that review, Amazon was still permitting downvoting in addition to upvoting, as well as commenting on reviews.
