HAPI Announcement: Version 1.2 Beta Released

Readers of this blog know by now that I have used HAPI (HL7 Application Programming Interface), an object-oriented HL7 2.x parser for Java, with such a high level of success that I am compelled to pass on significant announcements. The release of HAPI 1.2 Beta was announced via email two days ago:

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to say that HAPI 1.2-beta1 has been posted for testing. This release should be finalized within two weeks.

This release has no new features, but corrects a number of issues. In particular, several issues relating to the handling of the Varies type (OBX-5) are corrected.

See the changelog for more info: http://hl7api.sourceforge.net/changes-report.html. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

Download it here, or update your maven POM to reference version "1.2-beta1".

Cheers,
James

Ps, if you haven't already, fill out the HAPI survey!
