Blog Note: Part 4 - Blog tagline has been updated

In addition to migrating this blog from Typepad to Ghost, additional changes are coming. For example, I'll be sunsetting some older posts which haven't aged so well along the way.

In my recently refreshed LinkedIn profile, I mentioned that I've been a longtime writer of blog posts to share with customers, colleagues and the broader professional community. While my blogging originally started after joining a boutique consulting firm to focus on software engineering, the meaning of "software" has since broadened to refer to business in general due to the idea that every business is a software business.

In my original tagline, however, I didn't even mention software, choosing to use the word "technology" instead:

Musings on technology, business and running by an architect & open source advocate.

Why? Because technology can be considered broader than software. However, to tie together the original purpose of my blog with what it has eventually become, I've decided to replace this tagline with the following:

Every business is becoming a software business, catching up with humans who have been software all along.
